The latest update to Club Vote Count adds a feature many clubs have asked for: the ability to download and print finalised vote counts, directly from the system.
Whether you’re putting together records for the club archives, or helping your MC deliver a seamless presentation on vote count night, you can now export everything in just a couple of clicks.
What You Can Do Now
For any finalised vote count, you can:
- Download your data as an MS Excel spreadsheet
- Print the full vote tally
- Access these features round-by-round and award-by-award
How It Works
Once a vote count is finalised, download options become available in two key areas of the system:
1. Round-by-Round Screen
- Go to your Honour Board
- Open any finalised count
- Scroll to the Leaderboard, and click Round-by-Round
- At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see both Print and Download options
This is especially useful if your MC prefers a paper copy on the night.
2. Precounted Votes Screen
- Open the Precounted Votes screen
- Select any finalised vote count
- A Download button will appear in the Control Section
Click to download the spreadsheet. It will save to your browser’s default download location—usually the “Downloads” folder. From there, you can move it wherever you like, including into your club’s shared storage.
Spreadsheet Format
The exported spreadsheet will contain two or three tabs, depending on your voting setup:
- Leaderboard Tab – a final summary of player standings
- Votes Tab – round-by-round votes (if using one judge)
- Combined Votes Tabs – if multiple judges voted, you’ll get two extra tabs:
- Votes by Judge
- Votes Combined by Player per Round
These additional views are designed to support your MC in preparing and delivering the night.
This update won’t change the way you run your vote counts—but it will make it easier to keep clean records, provide backup copies, and support your presenters on the night. It’s a small step forward that gives clubs a bit more flexibility and peace of mind.
